Cardiology Magazine
For the winter 2015 edition of Cardiology, a quarterly publication of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), I was asked to illustrate the last-page infographic in the hand-rendered style of graphic recording. Based on bullet-pointed content, I quickly sketched corresponding visuals to mimic the spontenaety of visual capture, then designed a layout around a sketch of the ACC's "Heart House". The work was done by hand, with all phases of the project done with the relative speed and spontenaety of a real-world graphic recording session. Photoshop was used only for layout adjustments and for print production. This project won an award in Graphic Design USA's 2015 InHouse Design Awards.
